I live in the middle of a forest and the day I created this I was blessed with 2 inches of snow on the ground. How cool is that?

I enjoy walking down to the cabin that’s at the end of our property, it over looks a beautiful valley with a winding creek below. In the winter you can really hear the owls hooting at each other, which btw the hound dog hates when they do that. Maybe she can’t understand what they are saying?

We often hear coyotes and foxes, yipping in the night. Deer love to take a drink in the small pond in our front field. One winter I saw several young does, playing catch and splashing like little kids.

It was a wonderful sight to see.

My inspiration for this planner was to capture the essence of peace the forest creatures give me as I live along side them. Snowy days are a special treat when I happen across a forest animal on my winter walks around my home.

We don’t do a lot during the winter on the farm. It’s a season of rest and reflection. And a great time to catch up on movies and read books around the fireplace. I’m included some pages that you can jot down things you would like to catch up on during this time of rest and relaxation.
